“I Need Feedback On My Book/Script.”

One of the best actions you can take is to start getting feedback from people in the industry.

A Free-source

Join Stage 32 and set up a profile. It’s kind of like LinkedIn meets IMDBPro with a specific bent for writers. It’s free to join and there’s lot of free knowledge available from others in the publishing and film industry.

You can get publishing and authoring insight in the Authoring & Playwriting Lounge or screenwriting insight in the Screenwriting Lounge. Find some members you trust and maybe swap manuscripts/scripts to get some feedback.

I’ve been a member since 2014 and won their Feature Screenwriting Competition in 2018. I serve as a Thought Leader in both of the lounges mentioned above so make sure to come connect with me there.

Some Better Than Google Resources

If you’ve got at least 10 pages of your project done, why not find out what’s working and what’s not? Sometimes you’re too close to the problem to see it.

After checkout, I’ll shoot you an invitation to submit your first 10 pages and then send back 10 notes on how to improve and get unstuck. You’re welcome to send more than one project, but make sure to select the correct quantity.

If you’re needing some more general feedback on the idea or marketability of your book/script, then we can definitely chat about it. Spending a little bit of time and money up front can end up saving you a LOT of time and money in the long run.

After checkout, you will receive a link via email to schedule your time slot.
