“My Book/Script Feels Stuck.”
We’ve all been there. You’ve got half of it done and now you’re not sure what to do. Well, here’s what you do:
A Free-source
Join Stage 32 and set up a profile. It’s kind of like LinkedIn meets IMDBPro with a specific bent for writers. It’s free to join and there’s lot of free knowledge available from others in the publishing and film industry.
You can get publishing and authoring insight in the Authoring & Playwriting Lounge or screenwriting insight in the Screenwriting Lounge. Find some members you trust and maybe swap manuscripts/scripts to get some free notes.
I’ve been a member since 2014 and won their Feature Screenwriting Competition in 2018. I serve as a Thought Leader in both of the lounges mentioned above so make sure to come connect with me there.
Some Better Than Google Resources
If you’ve got at least 10 pages of your project done, why not find out what’s working and what’s not? Sometimes you’re too close to the problem to see it.
After checkout, I’ll shoot you an invitation to submit your first 10 pages and then send back 10 notes on how to improve and get unstuck. You’re welcome to send more than one project, but make sure to select the correct quantity.
You can keep asking randos on Google and Reddit about your idea and still be no closer to a clear answer OR you can buy an hour of my time and we’ll figure out how to get un-stuck together.
After checkout, you will receive a link via email to schedule your time slot.
